American rapper now turned politician Kanye West, 43, has to all intents and purposes accepted his sole defeat in the ongoing 2020 presidential election.

Kanye West took to Twitter to announce defeat

In a Hollywood Life report, West, a designer for Yeezy, stormed over his personal Twitter account amid the election night happening as he posted a photo of himself in forwards from his television. The tweet seems to showcase West’s wandering mind as to the states where current 74-year-old Republican Donald Trump and 77-year-old Democratic nominee Joe Biden will emerge victoriously.

The tweet comes with a caption that reads, “WELP,” and a proclamation that he will again try his luck on the next presidential election. ”KANYE 2024” is written beside, suggesting America that he will run in the next votation.

As per The Guardian, welp is an expression of disappointment. But West seems to edit the caption by removing the cryptic word. See the tweet below.

The matter is followed after the rapper’s revelation that he voted for himself in the elections. His tweet above was followed by a video of his ballot, showing his name written for president, with Michelle Tidball as his vice president.

Tidball is a life coach and a preacher who has been with West in some of his church and political stunts.

Additionally, West shared another video to the same social media platform with his ballot sliding into the voting machine. In the caption, he wrote that the said vote was his first and that he and his team are happy to serve the nation. He also said that he is praying for every leader in the world, as per USA Today.

Kanye West’s 2024 candidacy

Credible sources have revealed that if West will officially run for president in the next election, it wouldn’t come as a surprise as he recently uplifted his name and being the leader of the free world. In an interview with Joe Ragan, he said that there is no better time to hails a visionary in the “captain’s chair.”

“I’m not here to down Trump, or down Biden, I’m just here to express why God has called me to take this position,” he said. He also included Oprah Winfrey’s name in the matter, saying Winfrey gave her advice that he doesn’t fit to be a president, but a foreign affairs dedicated officer.

Meanwhile, many see West’s presidential candidacy as a joke, especially when he announced his official decision on Twitter. The cheeky way he announced his candidacy is also the same manner he accepted his defeat.
