Katie Holmes’ relationship with Emilio Vitolo is being likened to her previous relationship with Tom Cruise.
According to Gossip Cop, after Holmes and Cruise got engaged years ago, they were rarely seen apart. The exes were also quite flirty towards each other when they’re out in public.
But after six years of being married, Holmes and Cruise shocked the world when they announced that they were divorcing. Following their split, Holmes received sole physical custody of their daughter, Suri Cruise.
Years later, Holmes started dating Jamie Foxx. But unlike her relationship with Cruise, the Dawson’s Creek star and Foxx were more private about their relationship.
In fact, it was only around the time that the A-listers were already divorcing when they indirectly confirmed their relationship. Holmes and Foxx attended the Met Gala last year together.
And just a few months later, sources revealed that the couple has decided to go their separate ways. Several rumors surrounded Holmes and Foxx’s split last year.
There were claims that the actor cheated on Holmes with Sela Vave. But Foxx was quick to deny the allegations by saying that his relationship with the singer is just like a mentor and a mentee.
The musician slammed the double standards surrounding men and women working together. Foxx said that when he’s working with men, there are no rumors about them.
But the minute he works with female artists, tabloids immediately assume that he’s flirting or dating them.
Vave also denied the rumors that she and Foxx have something romantic going on between them. On her Instagram account, the 22-year-old singer said that people can continue to criticize her, but she and Foxx know the truth.
Months after Holmes and Foxx split, the Dawson’s Creek star made headlines after she was photographed canoodling with Vitolo at a restaurant.
In the snaps, Holmes is sitting on Vitolo’s lap. And she’s also grinning from ear to ear.
Shortly after the couple’s relationship was confirmed, Holmes and Vitolo were seen in public together several times. During some of their outings, they were photographed kissing and holding hands.
But even though Holmes and Vitolo seem to be happy with each other, the tabloids are claiming that their relationship won’t last.
According to National Enquirer, Vitolo is just using Holmes for fame. The tabloid also recently claimed that Holmes is the one paying every time she and Vitolo dine out. The actress also, allegedly, showers Vitolo with expensive gifts to boost her self-esteem.
