Sofia Richie, 22, has moved on after her split from Scott Disick, who her family thought wasn't the right person for the model. Much to the model's delight, her family gave Matthew Morton, her new boyfriend, their stamp of approval as well.
Richie’s famous family is happy with her dating Morton, and an insider told Us Weekly that he is very excited about their relationship. Noting that Morton and Richie are totally a thing, the insider said the pair have known each other and have also run in the same circle, so their relationship is effortless and a lot of fun for both of them.
The source went on to reveal that Matt has already received her family's stamp of approval, which is really nice for the model. This reaction is contrary to the one they had for her relationship with the 37-year-old Talentless founder. Last month, an insider told the outlet that her family thinks she was way better off without Disick.
Her family has been urging the model to do her thing, especially during the quarantine, the source said. Richie has been separating herself from the equation, and that has turned out to be a healthy thing to do not only for her but also for her family, the source explained.
Back in Oct., news about Richie’s new relationship with Morton. Though began doing the rounds online, with one source telling Us that the new couple is bent on keeping their relationship out of the public eye and refrain from talking about the seriousness of their new romance. The insider confirmed that the two were definitely seeing each other at the time.
Reports about their romance surfaced online just two days after they were spotted together at Nobu in Malibu. In May, Richie broke up with the Flip It Like Disick star after three years of being in a relationship, and the pair reconciled for a short period before calling it quits again in Aug.
Disick is, reportedly, dating model Bella Banos, 24, whom the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was first linked to three years ago, after they were spotted in a Costa Rican hotel room with a mystery woman during a family vacation, E! reported. As expected, Richie wasn't pleased to see Disick's photos with Banos, and understandably decided to unfollow him, as well as his ex-girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian on Instagram.
After making an appearance with Banos, Disick was photographed with another model Megan Blake Irwin. They were spotted coming out of West Hollywood based Kimpton La Peer Hotel on Oct. 15.
