Julia Roberts, allegedly, tried to break up Danny Moder’s first marriage so that she could get close to her now-husband.

According to New Idea, Roberts’ brother-in-law, John Dilbeck slammed the actress for trying to break up the cameraman’s first marriage.

Dilbeck claimed that some of Moder’s relatives told him that Roberts put intense pressure on Vera Steimberg to sign her divorce papers and return home to Argentina.

There were also rumors that Moder’s ex-wife received $200,000 in settlement and so she would agree to immediately sign the documents. Now, there are claims that Roberts might have been the one who paid Steimberg off.

“Julia has been desperate to get Danny down the aisle, and she’s got her wish. I never wanted to lose him, but I’ve given up now,” Steimberg previously said.

Dilbeck also called the Pretty Woman star cold and heartless after she was photographed wearing a t-shirt with the words “A Low Vera” on it. The statement was seen as a shade directed at Moder’s ex-wife.

According to Dilbeck, not everyone from Moder’s family adores Roberts. In fact, whenever the actress is around, everyone in the family tends to walk on eggshells.

Moder’s family members are also, allegedly, very paranoid that one wrong thing that they do and say would be used against them by the actress.

Roberts’ sister-in-law, Jyl Moder previously outed the actress. In her diary, she revealed how mean she thinks the actress is.

“If you don’t show up on time for an appointment with Julia or dare to feed the kids anything with gluten in it, then you’re in for it,” Jyl wrote.

According to Dilbeck, Roberts is also known for her outrageous demands. The actress, allegedly, paid $10,000 to have her personal parking spot at her children’s school. Her kids are also served special meals in school, and they’re treated like they are celebrities.

Jyl, who works at Roberts’ children’s school, allegedly, works off-campus to avoid running into the actress when she’s there.

However, the tabloid's claims should be taken with a grain of salt. No one knows for sure what’s really been going on between Roberts and Moder, as well as the cameraman’s family. Everything mentioned by the tabloid may just be based on hearsays.
