Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly taken their first steps at financial freedom.

According to New Idea, the royal couple just signed with the New York-based Harry Walker Agency.

The Los Angeles Times also revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a lucrative deal with the agency to take part in several moderated discussions and keynote speeches.

Some of the topics that they would take on as part of their deal include racial injustice, gender equality, environmental issues, and mental health.

Other A-listers who are signed as speakers for the agency include Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bill Clinton.

In 2017, rumors swirled that Obama earned $400,000 for one speech, while the Clintons reportedly earned an average of $250,000 per appearance in 2014.

Other than their recent deal with Harry Walker Agency, Prince Harry and Markle also made headlines this week after they stepped out in public to volunteer at Gang Rehabilitation Facility in Los Angeles.

Photos of the royal couple show them wearing protective gear and masks while helping out in the facility. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also prepared food for the #FeedHOPE program, which employs Homebody participants to provide meals to those in need.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Markle has been in contact with Father Greg Boyle, who runs the charity, since she was in high school. Twenty years ago, Markle and her mom, Doria Ragland joined Boyle for a cooking workshop.

Following the visit, Boyle said that Prince Harry and Markle were just like normal people when they visited the facility. The royal couple reportedly rolled up their sleeves and they deeply engaged with the workers in the Bakery and Café.

Café manager, Mariana said that she and everyone working at the facility were honored that the Sussexes took the time to visit them. She said that their visit is something that she will never forget.

The Sussexes continue to make headlines following their bombshell exit in January. While speaking with Express, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said that it seems ironic that four new books about the royal couple will be released in the coming months.

After all, Prince Harry and Markle decided to quit the royal family so that they could lead private lives. And they also wanted to protect their 1-year-old son, Archie.

But with the four books that are slated for release this year, Prince Harry and Markle will continue to find themselves in the headlines.
