Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde have been sparking rumors that they might have gotten back together.

Shortly after Wilde and Harry Styles split, the actress and Sudeikis started hanging out again with their two children.

Heat UK, in its Feb. 13 issue, claimed that Sudeikis couldn’t be more thrilled to have Wilde in his life again. In fact, he was always certain that Wilde’s thing with Styles will just be a phase, and he was right.

“Jason always felt the Harry thing was a phase and that Olivia was going through a thirty-something crisis. He always hoped that she’d be back once that fizzled out. Once it did, Jason set about diffusing the tension between him and Olivia, telling her how amazing and talented she is,” the source said.

However, the source also claimed that Sudeikis’ friends are worried that Wilde could just be using her ex-boyfriend as a rebound from Styles. Unfortunately, even if they have been warning Sudeikis, he just won’t listen.

“Jason didn’t deny they had issues but he believed they had too much to lose to just walk away. They’ve both made mistakes, but time’s a great healer. The situation has given Jason very real hope that he can woo Olivia back, which is a head-scratcher after the hell she’s put him through. His friends are worried he’s going to get his heart broken all over again,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It’s very obvious why Wilde and Sudeikis have been hanging out recently and it’s because they have two children that they want to spend time.

The exes’ reunion doesn’t automatically mean that they are back together or that they are interested in getting back together. And it’s not also true that Wilde is using Sudeikis to heal her heart from Styles because she doesn’t have any plans to rekindle her romance with her baby daddy.

For now, Sudeikis and Wilde are nothing more than friends. And it seems they are the only two people that know what their real setup is. As long as things are working well for them and for their children then fans and tabloids have nothing to worry about.
