Meghan Trainor is hoping to get pregnant soon.
Speaking exclusively to People, the 28-year-old songstress revealed her thoughts about motherhood and her plans to expand her family starting in 2023. This comes as she shared her desire to have four children with her husband, Daryl Sabara.
Trainor said she hopes to become “pregnant” next year. She explained, “I’m trying to make four children, so I’ve got to get on it.”
The “Made You Look” singer also told the magazine that she felt “there’s nothing I can’t do” after welcoming her first child with the “Spy Kids” actor earlier in 2021. She added, “So now I’m just trying to knock off all my dreams on my dream list.”
This is not the first time Meghan Trainor revealed her plans to become pregnant with a second baby with Daryl Sabara.
In August, the “All About That Bass” singer spoke to Us Weekly and talked about the matter, sharing she would have gotten pregnant months ago “if I could’ve.” She noted that “we’re just busy and I don’t want to be, like, nauseous while doing all this fun stuff.”
Trainor continued to the outlet that in “November, December, I’ma be trying to get knocked up,” as, at that time, she said she was about to “travel the world really quick.”
The “Treat Myself” artist also confessed during the exchange, published on August 29, that conceiving a second baby is “in my calendar,” adding that she “would love a daughter.”
Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara, who tied the knot on her 25th birthday in December 2018, welcomed their first child in February 2021. She announced the arrival of their son, whom they named “Riley,” on Instagram and posted a series of photos featuring the newborn baby.
In the caption, the “Genetics” singer shared that the due date of her first pregnancy was on Valentine's Day. But, she said they “got to meet him” days earlier, on February 8.
Trainor continued that she and her husband are “SO IN LOVE,” and later thanked him “for the best Valentine’s gift ever.”
Elsewhere in the exchange with People, published Tuesday, the “Lips Are Movin” artist revealed her plans for this year’s holiday festivities with her family, particularly her son. She is said to have shared how she intends to go all out, with the magazine noting that she is a huge fan of the Christmas season.
Meghan Trainor told the outlet that she got her son “eight outfits” as she wants to dress him in a variety of holiday-themed outfits for family photos. She also stated that she wants “it to be cute, but also embarrassing, so one day he can look back, like, ‘Oh my God, how cute was I?’ I can’t wait."
