Gwen Stefani recently revealed her thoughts about Blake Shelton’s accent on the latest episode of “The Voice” Season 22.

Entertainment Tonight said it came after first-time coach Camila Cabello asked the 52-year-old singer whether her husband’s accent has rubbed off on her, adding that she feels “kinda scared” as she believes it would rub off on her a little.

Stefani reportedly appeared skeptical that the accent rubbed off on her. But, she is said to have admitted to her fellow coaches that she used to think Shelton’s accent was “fake.”

ET quoted the “Cool” singer from Monday’s Blind Auditions for the new season of the reality competition show, saying, “I used to be like, ‘When are you going to stop talking like that?’ [I thought], like, that’s so fake.”

It continues, “But then, it’s actually his real voice. I kinda got used to it.”

“The Voice” Season 22 marks Gwen Stefani’s return to the show as a coach. She last did the stint in 2020, about a year before she and Blake Shelton tied the knot.

Ahead of the premiere, which took place on September 19, Entertainment Tonight spoke with the celebrity couple along with their two other fellow coaches, John Legend and Camila Cabello.

During the engagement, the “All Of Me” singer revealed that having Stefani on set is Shelton’s “kryptonite,” considering that she is the country artist’s wife.

Legend reportedly noted that the “Hollaback Girl” singer “takes the edge off” the “God’s Country” artist, adding that “she is his weakness.”

As for Gwen Stefani, however, she was said to have pointed out that she is having a great time back on set with her husband.

ET quoted the songstress, reportedly stating, “It’s just pretty fun. Like, ‘Happy Anywhere,’ you know what I’m saying?”

In a separate interview ahead of the “The Voice” Season 22 premiere, the “Rich Girl” artist talked about her thoughts on returning to the show for the first time since marrying Blake Shelton in 2021.

Gwen Stefani told People that they both “have a soft spot [for each other],” noting that she was “nervous to come back.” She explained that she was feeling that way “because [she] did not know what it would be like.”

The "Sweet Escape" songstress continued that it is now “different” because Blake Shelton is her husband, which she deemed “crazy.” She consequently asserted that she “already won” because of it, so she believes she “can’t win again.”
