Ellen DeGeneres allegedly regrets her decision to quit The Ellen Show.

In its June 13 issue, Globe claimed that DeGeneres was forced into exiting her hit talk show following a series of controversies two years ago.

At the time, the comedian was accused of bullying her staff and guests. Several former staffers came forward to expose DeGeneres, but The Ellen Show still continued to air for over a year.

Sources are saying that Portia de Rossi didn’t want to immediately quit The Ellen Show after the scandal broke out because it would seem as though she was guilty. As such, she waited for two more seasons before quitting the hit talk show.

Now, a source told the tabloid that it’s only a matter of time before fans see DeGeneres on television. After all, she’s already thinking of the best way to return to daytime programming.

“Despite urgings from wife Portia de Rossi, she’s looking for a way to come back. In other words, Ellen’s too damn mean to quit,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that DeGeneres is bitter over losing The Ellen Show. And she’s also upset because she wasn’t nominated for an Emmy award this year.

Not to mention, the comedian will lose a huge chunk of her earnings following the end of The Ellen Show. However, the funny woman is still, allegedly, left with her 490 million net worth.

As of late, there’s no proof that DeGeneres is already thinking of returning to television. In fact, her wife, as well as her good friend, Jennifer Aniston are encouraging her to return to standup comedy. De Rossi and Aniston are convinced that DeGeneres is good at it and that she could make millions from the venture.

DeGeneres and de Rossi will also focus on their elephant sanctuary in Rwanda, which was the latter’s gift to the former when she turned 60 years old.

All these prove that the tabloid’s claims are inaccurate. There’s no proof that DeGeneres wants to return to daytime programming anytime soon. If anything, it seems that she would spend more time with her wife in the coming months or even years.

And it’s not also true that the comedian is struggling financially. Even though losing her salary from The Ellen Show will have an impact on her savings, DeGeneres still makes millions from her endorsements and from flipping houses.
