The Kardashian-Jenner clan’s new reality TV show just premiered, and the ratings haven’t been great.
In its May 16 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Kris Jenner are fuming after learning that the ratings for The Kardashians have been very low.
But the Kardashian-Jenner clan isn’t the only one that is upset. A source claimed that ABC is also starting to question its decision.
“ABC paid over $100 million to get the Kardashian family on Hulu. They assumed Kim and her sisters would result in thousands of new subscribers but that didn’t happen. Heads are going to roll over this,” the source said.
The source also said that ABC’s attempts to promote The Kardashians didn’t even work.
“Even Robin Roberts plugging the Kardashians on a primetime special didn’t deliver the numbers everyone wanted. Why would anyone think of a show that got canceled off E! would suddenly be a huge hit on Hulu? It’s basically the same show on a different network. Plus, if you really want to keep up with the Kardashians, you just go to social media, not TV,” the source said.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan also made headlines recently amid reports that they won in the recent lawsuit that was filed against them by Rob Kardashian’s ex, Blac Chyna.
The reality TV star accused the family of going to the bosses at E! and telling them that Chyna physically assaulted Rob that’s why the exes’ reality TV show was canceled.
However, the members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan denied the claims, and a rep for E! also said that they canceled the show because Chyna and Rob were no longer together.
Other than this, some of the members of the family have also been making headlines due to entirely different reasons.
Khloe recently took to social media to explain her decision to reconcile with Tristan Thompson months ago. The reconciliation happened before Thompson was busted for cheating and fathering a baby boy.
Kourtney is also making headlines because of her upcoming wedding to Travis Barker. The couple got engaged last year, and they had a fake wedding in Las Vegas weeks ago.
And then there’s Kim, who’s in a happy and healthy relationship with Pete Davison. There are rumors that Davidson will be a regular on The Kardashians. And that it’s only a matter of time before he proposes to Kim.
