Meghan Markle was, recently, dubbed as a renegade princess for breaking a slew of royal protocols before Megxit.

Gossip Cop compiled a list of the Duchess of Sussex’s “worst royal faux pas” starting off with her choice of pantsuits. Queen Elizabeth reportedly wants female members of the royal family to wear dresses when they are out in public.

As such, when Markle stepped out for engagement in her pantsuit, she drew flak from her critics.

According to the publication, the “Suits” alum committed a two-for-one faux pas while she was pregnant with Archie. During her royal tour with Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex was photographed in her wedges.

Shortly after, Markle took off her shoes to walk barefoot on the beach. Prince Harry also did the same thing but he wasn’t criticized for it.

While at Archie’s christening in July 2019, Markle was spotted wearing a Dior dress. According to the publication, this was frowned upon since Markle didn’t pay homage to British designers.

Kate Middleton, on the other hand, wore an Alexander McQueen creation to the christenings of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The publication said that Markle may have chosen to wear a Dior dress to pay tribute to female designers. At that time, Maria Grazia Chiuri had just been named as Dior’s creative director.

Markle has also been criticized for not wearing a pantyhose underneath her dress. Prince Harry’s wife was also slammed for crossing her legs in front of Queen Elizabeth.

And following her wedding to Prince Harry, Markle’s second dress designed by Stella McCartney was dubbed as immodest. After all, it bared the former actress’ shoulders. When she attended her first Trooping the Colour event, Markle was also photographed in a dress that showed off her shoulders.

Markle was also criticized when she arrived at Wimbledon in jeans despite the organizers asking guests to wear formal attire.

The Duchess of Sussex and her husband’s public displays of affection have also been frowned upon.

Following all of the criticisms that Markle received, she and Prince Harry decided to quit the royal family for good. In January, the royal couple announced their bombshell exit.

According to NBC News, the couple’s announcement did not come as a surprise to royal watchers. After all, Prince Harry and Markle have been complaining about the unfair treatment that they have been receiving from the media for months.
