Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness are allegedly having a disagreement over their future plans.

In its Dec. 27 issue, New Idea claimed that Netflix offered the couple a lucrative deal to star in their own reality TV show. Jackman already turned down the offer, but Furness is urging the actor to reconsider.

A source said that Furness thinks this is the perfect opportunity for the entire world to see the kind of relationship and home life she and Jackman have. She also wants to show the entire world how in love they are with each other.

“They celebrated 25 years of marriage and this could be a wonderful way to celebrate. She likes the idea of having complete control over the end product, too. Deb has never felt the need to prove anything to anyone. She wants people to see how kind and loving Hugh is as a partner, the little things he does, and also some of the stuff she has to deal with, of course! But a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their marriage will show the world he’s definitely more Wolverine than Peter Allen,” the source said.

Jackman, on the other hand, is allegedly worried about opening his home and family life to the cameras. After all, whatever it is that they disclose to the world can no longer be taken back.

Even though the actor isn’t one of the most private celebrities in Hollywood, there are still a lot of things that he holds sacred and doesn’t want to share.

“There’s huge interest in seeing what it’s like living with the man, who’s hilarious at the best and worst of times. But the truly genuine connection between those two is the real story,” the source said.

As of late, there’s no indication that Netflix offered Jackman a lucrative deal to star in a reality TV show with his wife. And if the streaming platform did, there’s no reason for Jackman to turn the offer down.

After all, even though it’s a reality TV show, there are some aspects of his life that he can tell producers he doesn’t want to be featured on the show.

The tabloid also pointed out that Jackman and Furness have been married for 25 years. So, it’s unlikely for them to get into a disagreement over something as trivial as a job offer.
