Nick Cannon just detailed the harrowing incident she and his partner faced around Thanksgiving.

On the Nick Cannon Show, the host revealed that his son was diagnosed with hydrocephalous. Around Thanksgiving, things took a turn for the worse so his 5-month-old son, Zen was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery.

They soon found out that Zen was suffering from brain cancer. And the doctors informed Cannon and his partner, Alyssa Scott that the cancer cells will spread very quickly.

After revealing that his son died, Cannon also praised Scott for strength and faith during such a difficult time. He said that he never once saw Scott get angry over the fate of their son.

“Zen's mom, Alyssa, was just the strongest woman I've ever seen. Never had an argument, never was angry. Was emotional when she needed to be but always the best mom, and continues to be the best mom,” he said.

Cannon also revealed that when Zen was born, he noticed that he had quite a big head. He didn’t think anything of it and even though that it was because of his genes.

When Zen was around two months old, he noticed that his breathing seemed different so he decided to take him to his doctor. Cannon initially thought that he had problems with his sinus so he was shocked to find out that Zen had hydrocephalous.

According to People, Cannon and Scott’s son died this past weekend. And the former even thought long and hard about whether he should return to the Nick Cannon Show to host the program.

He said that he decided to push through with the show because he’s not a quitter.

“I'm here to show that I can fight through this, I'm feeling it, I'm vulnerable, I'm open. this is a special show dedicated to my beautiful son Zen,” he said.

Cannon has six other children from his previous relationships. He has twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey.

He also has a son named Golden Sagon Cannon with his ex, Brittany Bell.

Cannon’s daughter, Powerful Queen Cannon was born in December 2020.

And he also has another set of twins with ex Abby de la Rosa named Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir Cannon.

During a radio interview in August, Cannon gushed over this kids and said that he enjoys being around them because of their youthful energy, according to Parade.
