Vin Diesel is allegedly upset with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for always making fun of him.

Johnson just confirmed that his latest movie, Red Notice has a running gag about his Fast & Furious co-star, Diesel. But even though Johnson doesn’t mean any harm, a source claimed Diesel is not laughing.

“He doesn’t find it humorous in the least. Every time he thinks the war is over, Dwayne opens the old wounds again,” a source told National Enquirer, in its Nov. 22 issue.

The insider claimed that Johnson enjoys making fun of Diesel because he knows that his co-star is insecure but his ego is big that it needs constant feeding.

With this, the tabloid concluded that Diesel’s reaction to Johnson’s jokes is proof that he’s indeed insecure and egotistical.

During a recent interview, Johnson clarified that the jokes about Diesel do not come from him.

“People think these jokes come from me and they actually don’t. You’d be surprised at how many people come to me with, ‘I got a great one.’ I’m like, ‘Okay.’ ‘I got another Vin Diesel joke.’ ‘I’m sure you do,’” Johnson said.

Johnson and Diesel have been working together for years. If there’s bad blood between them on the set of Fast & Furious, more reputable sources would have already reported on it.

It’s obvious that the actors are just being pitted against each other because of their similarities. But this doesn’t mean that they take these rumors seriously.

Throughout the years, there have been rumors about Diesel and Johnson’s alleged feud, but the former has always denied it. In fact, Diesel said that he’s protective of Johnson and the whole Fast & Furious team.

Diesel also said that a lot of people blew the rumors out of proportion so there came a point in their lives when the public thought that they were really at odds with each other even when they were not.

“I don’t think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way. I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don’t think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work in this franchise. In my house, he’s Uncle Dwayne,” Diesel said via Us Weekly.

Years ago, Diesel also came to Johnson’s defense after he was accused of causing delays on the production of Fast & Furious 9. This is another indication that the co-stars are really close and that they treat each other like brothers.
