Angelina Jolie allegedly decided to bring her five children to The Eternals premiere to get back at her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.

In its Nov. 12 issue, Heat UK claimed that Jolie was more than thrilled to grace the red-carpet premiere of her new movie with her five children. All six of them also paraded at the movie’s premiere in London and Rome.

Pitt, on the other hand, stayed at home and watched the entire scenario unfold on television and online.

A source claimed that Jolie sent a cryptic message to her ex-husband at the time, and she wanted him to know that they are happy without him.

“Ange has been really buzzing off all the compliments from these red-carpet appearances. She says it wasn’t about rubbing Brad’s face in it, but everyone knows it gives her a lot of satisfaction to push his buttons and show the world how happy they all are without him,” the source said.

Prior to Jolie’s outing with her kids, she said that she just wants her entire family – including her children’s father – to heal. But the tabloid’s source claimed that this isn’t entirely the truth.

After all, Jolie taking her children to the premiere did not soothe the tensions between her and Pitt.

“Brad sees all the photographs of his children being paraded down the red carpet, and it hurts like hell. He would love to have more one-on-one time with the kids than he’s currently getting, and the fact that he is still having to jump through hoops and plead for limited visitation rights makes him sick to his stomach. Seeing them standing next to his ex-wife is a real kick in the teeth,” the source said.

However, it is important to note that Pitt has not publicly commented on Jolie’s appearance with her children. So, no one really knows what the dad of six thinks and how he feels.

Pitt isn’t also allowed to talk about his custody battle publicly, and the judge seemingly banned him from being photographed in public with his children.

If these are all part of his custody arrangement then Pitt knows exactly why he cannot hang out with his kids in public.

Jolie, on the other hand, has physical and legal custody of the kids right now. And since they live with their mom, it makes more sense that the actress is allowed to be photographed with her children.
