Matthew Perry has allegedly been shutting his closest friends out of his life.

In its Oct. 25 issue, Star claimed that Perry has been struggling with his health and personal life. However, even though things have been very difficult for the actor, he’s a very proud and stubborn guy who wants to show his friends that he’s got everything figured out.

Following the Friends reunion earlier this year, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc allegedly agreed to hang out more often.

But every time they would invite Perry, he would always tell them that he’s not available.

“Everyone in the cast has reached out about getting together especially when Jen and Courtney. Matthew just blows them off,” the source said.

The insider added that Perry has always struggled with his weight and mental health. But things went even more downhill for the actor after he called off his engagement to Molly Hurwitz.

“He’s in a world of pain and bitter too. There are friends who would be there in an instant to help, along with his dad in Ojai and a team of assistants. He’s saying he can handle this and not to worry, but he clearly isn’t handling it – and they do worry,” the source said.

To make their story more believable, the tabloid published a photo of Perry looking disheveled. His hair seems too long, and he also gained a lot of weight.

However, it is important to note that this photo of Perry wasn’t taken recently. Instead, it was taken years ago when the same tabloid among many other publications kept body-shaming the actor.

As of late, it’s unclear if Perry is really struggling or not because he has not opened up about his issues.

There is also no proof that his Friends co-stars have been reaching out to him to give him support. And if Aniston and Cox have really been offering Perry help, it’s unlikely for the actor to turn them down.

After all, the co-stars are very close to each other after having worked together for years.

This isn’t the first time that Perry is rumored to be struggling with his weight and mental health. Two years ago, photos of the actor looking as though he packed on the pounds circulated on the cover of multiple tabloids.

But during Perry’s recent appearance at the Friends reunion, he looked as good and healthy as ever.
