Katherine Heigl is allegedly having a blast hearing all the criticisms that her former Grey’s Anatomy co-stars are receiving.

In its Oct. 11 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Heigl couldn’t be happier to learn that she wasn’t criticized in Lynette Rice’s book How to Save A Life: The Inside Story of Grey’s Anatomy because it’s a nightmare.

“What Katherine suffered on the set still haunts her, so it’s sweet justice to see others getting it in the neck,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Heigl is especially upset with Isaiah Washington, Ellen Pompeo, and Patrick Dempsey.

“But that show was one battle after another. Katherine will never forget how they shunned her after she butted heads with Shonda Rhimes over how her character was written,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that Grey’s Anatomy will go off the air very soon especially since lead star Pompeo doesn’t seem interested to reprise her role for many more years.

In fact, she and Rhimes allegedly decided to ask Kate Walsh to return to the hit ABC drama to help boost the ratings of Grey’s Anatomy.

And since Walsh’s character, Addison Montgomery was as popular as Meredith Grey, back in the day, Rhimes believes the actress could help popularize the series again.

“Katherine thinks this is karma coming back to bite a bunch of [expletive] backstabbers where it hurts,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, they seemingly ranted on behalf of Heigl, but the actress herself has never said these things about her co-stars or even Grey’s Anatomy.

In fact, Heigl recently admitted that she regrets some of the things that she did after she quit Grey’s Anatomy. At one point, the actress refused to accept an award nomination because she didn’t think she deserved it.

If Heigl wanted to shade her former co-stars, she should’ve done so during that recent interview, but she didn’t. And this proves that she doesn’t have negative feelings towards them.

Meanwhile, some fans are clamoring for Heigl to reprise her role as Izzie Stevens in Grey’s Anatomy. After all, she’s one of the last two original cast members who have not returned to the show.

Last season, T.R. Knight and Dempsey reprised their roles in a dream sequence with Pompeo.

Sandra Oh is the other original Grey’s Anatomy character that has not returned.
