Queen Elizabeth has been very protective of Kate Middleton. In its August 16 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that the queen decided to give Middleton two patronages previously led by Prince Harry as a public vote of confidence.

Since she adores the Duchess of Cambridge and knows that she’s a good patron, the monarch knew that no one else was suited for the role.

“The queen giving them to Kate is her way of showing Harry he can’t bully her and also showing the world that Kate is her right-hand woman,” the source said.

But even though the queen has taken a step against Prince Harry, the source insisted that she still hopes the royal family’s issues will be resolved soon.

And the queen believes that Middleton is the one that heals the rift between the Sussexes and the royal family.

“Kate was one of the first people the queen called to discuss Harry’s shock memoir plans for next year. And while they’re both upset by it, they’re sticking to the plan to say nothing and keep to business as usual,” the source said.

The Duchess of Cambridge has allegedly advised the royals to not push Prince Harry further because he knows they will lose him for good.

Middleton also allegedly told the queen that she wants to remain cordial with the Sussexes because her goal is to keep the door open for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle one day.

The queen supported Middleton’s battle plan because she trusts her. And the monarch is also convinced that the ongoing royal family rift will come to an end very soon.

However, no such thing is happening between Middleton and the queen behind closed doors. And if the two female royals are plotting something to heal their rift with the Sussexes, it’s unlikely for only one tabloid to know about it.

While it is true that the queen trusts Middleton, there is no proof that she’s putting the burden on her to heal the ongoing rift between the Sussexes and the royals.

It is also important to note that Middleton has nothing to do with Prince William and Prince Harry’s rift.

In fact, she was instrumental in getting the brothers talking while at Prince Philip’s funeral.

Prior to their outing in April, reports revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry have not spoken to each other in months.
