Princess Eugenie is allegedly convinced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will overshadow her son August’s upcoming christening.

In its July 26 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Princess Eugenie’s son’s christening was postponed after one of their guests was exposed to COVID-19.

Princess Eugenie is allegedly heartbroken over her decision to postpone the gathering especially since Queen Elizabeth promised to be there.

“Eugenie was beside herself that the queen was coming. She doesn’t always attend christenings. She bypassed Meghan and Prince Harry’s son Archie’s for example. So, Eugenie was very touched that she committed to seeing August baptized,” the source said.

After canceling August’s christening, Princess Eugenie allegedly found out that Prince Harry and Markle also planning their daughter Lili’s christening. And the event will take place anytime soon.

Even though Lili’s christening will most likely take place in California, Princess Eugenie couldn’t help but think that they will hold it on the day of August’s christening.

So, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter is allegedly doing everything that she can to know Prince Harry and Markle’s christening plans so that she could avoid them.

“It seems a bit unfair, but she’d rather that than have dueling christenings. When Meghan got wind of Eugenie sniffing around their plans, she lashes out telling Harry to make sure their plans remain a secret, but Eugenie just wants to avoid a case of history repeating itself,” the source said.

Years ago, Markle was accused of overshadowing Princess Eugenie when she announced that she’s pregnant with Archie at the latter’s royal wedding.

And in August, Princess Eugenie announced the birth of her son when Markle also announced that she’s expecting baby number two.

As such, royal commentators are convinced that Markle is trying to outshine Princess Eugenie in the same way that she outshined Kate Middleton.

Last year, Markle and Prince Harry announced their decision to quit The Firm on Middleton’s birthday.

However, one should still take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, details from Princess Eugenie’s son and Markle’s daughter’s christenings are still being kept under wraps.

This means that no one knows for sure whether the two christenings will take place on the same day.

There’s also no proof that Princess Eugenie is trying to find out details from Lili’s christening so that she could avoid her special day.
