Prince William is allegedly gearing for a private showdown with his younger brother, Prince Harry.

In its June 28 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that the Duke of Cambridge agreed to set his issue with Prince Harry aside at Princess Diana’s memorial.

However, Prince William never said that there won’t be a showdown behind closed doors.

As such, the royals are anticipating a massive fight between the brothers when Prince Harry returns to the United Kingdom for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue.

“This is the latest stand-off between Harry and the people working for The Firm. And the royal family, especially Prince William, is sick of all the drama being played out so publicly. They’ve agreed to put their issues aside in public, but behind closed doors, everyone is bracing for a showdown,” the source said.

Palace insiders are worried that things between the brothers will get so heated and that they would end up ruining their late mother’s memorial.

Unfortunately, the Duke of Sussex has no plans to back down. In fact, Prince Harry doesn’t also have any intention to keep his mouth shut.

After his upcoming reunion with Prince William, Meghan Markle’s husband will continue to slam the royal family in his interviews.

Meanwhile, the source alleged that Queen Elizabeth has not lost hope that Prince William and Prince Harry can reconcile one day.

In fact, she is planning to meet her grandsons to give them the opportunity to talk in front of her.

“She’ll do anything to unite her family again. Hopefully, she can work her magic,” the source said.

Meanwhile, People recently revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry’s fallout has left Prince Charles shellshocked.

The heir to the throne is reportedly very hurt and upset by the ongoing feud between his sons.

A source said that the royals hoped that the brothers would reconcile at Prince Philip’s funeral in April. But no such thing happened since Prince William and Prince Harry didn’t have time to bond with each other.

The Duke of Sussex stayed in the United Kingdom for a few days. And he returned home shortly after the funeral to be with his wife and son, Archie.

More details about Prince William and Prince Harry’s strained relationship is detailed in Robert Lacey’s new book, Battle of Brothers: William, Harry, and the Inside Story of a Family in Tumult.
