Kate Middleton has allegedly been imitating the late Princess Diana because she knows that this is what Prince William needs to survive.

In its June 14 issue, New Idea claimed that Middleton constantly thinks of ways how to keep her marriage to Prince William alive. After all, they have already been married for 10 years.

Just recently, the royal couple visited Scotland. And after their royal engagement in the country, Prince William and Middleton were photographed strolling the streets with ice cream on hand.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also took the time to visit the village of Anstruther, where they shared a ton of memories back when they were still in the university.

Following the outing, unnamed friends of the couple are saying that Prince William and Middleton are doing everything that they can to make sure that their marriage would survive.

And one of the things that have worked out for them is by Middleton imitating her late mother-in-law.

“Kate refuses to let any of their stressors come between them. It’s her job to keep William calm and grounded, which is why she insists they do everyday things, just like Diana did. It’s why they’ll have a takeaway curry movie night or a visit to their local pub. Revisiting their old romance spots is what they need right now,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that the couple’s recent outing is the first time that Prince William was photographed with a huge smile on his face since Prince Harry’s controversial interview.

However, this isn’t really the case. After all, Prince William has also gone on of his other royal engagements with a smile on his face.

As for the couple’s marriage, it’s unlikely that Middleton feels the need to imitate Princess Diana’s ways to ensure that her relationship with Prince William will survive.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge seem to be doing good on their own. The couple has also developed a routine that works for both of them and their family.

Meanwhile, days after their trip to Scotland, Prince William and Middleton also made headlines after they publicly congratulated Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the arrival of their daughter.

The Cambridges shared a photo on Instagram showing Prince Harry and Markle cradling their then-only son, Archie.

Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on June 4 in California.
