Kate Winslet Doesn't Care About Affleck, J. Lo Reunion
If many fans and celebrities alike are celebrating the rumored rekindled romance between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, Kate Winslet doesn't. The "Titanic" star answered a series of questions, including that of the ex-couple's romantic reunion.
In an interview with The New York Times for her new "Mare of Easttown" show, the 45-year-old star had to "confirm or deny" rapid-fire statements. So, what does it have to do with Lopez and Affleck's romance?
News about Bennifer is big. Winslet was asked if she couldn't "stop reading" about the two. "What? No! I've never read about Jennifer in my life," she says. "What are these questions?"
Affleck and Lopez have dominated the entertainment headlines as of late after their getaway in Montana earlier this month. Since then, the pair has been seen together often and even had a romantic date night in Los Angeles.
A source told E! News the "Gone Girl" star had his arm around Lopez and they seemed proud to show affection to the public.
"He looked great and seemed very happy," the insider reveals. "She also looked happy and kept leaning into him."
Another source, who is allegedly close to the 51-year-old performer, reveals Lopez is "crazy" about Affleck. The actor reportedly spoils the "Hustler" star with his love that she finds him so "attractive and strong."
Despite calling off their engagement, Lopez now sees a bright future with him and a possible long-term relationship.
News about Lopez and Affleck's rekindled love started in April after she called it quits with former fiancé Alex Rodriguez. The "Justice League" star, alternatively, ended his romance with Ana de Armas in January.
Meanwhile, aside from the question about Lopez and Affleck, Winslet also addressed allegations about her 1998 movie "Hideous Kinky." Asked if it was "neither hideous nor kinky," the English actor said she didn't know how to answer.
However, when questioned if she took a few things from the "Titanic" set, she admitted to stealing a very special memento.
"People stole the White Star Line cups and saucers," she said, according to Vanity Fair. "I was good. I did take a pair of Rose's earrings."
Sadly, Winslet lost one and misplaced her Oscar, too - which might be in her son's bedroom after being in the toilet for so long. (Business Times)
