Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are allegedly thinking about postponing their upcoming nuptials.

In its April 23 issue, National Enquirer claimed that the once happy couple are starting to feel stressed now that their wedding day is nearing.

A source claimed that Stefani and Shelton are stressing over all the details of their wedding – from the venue and the wedding gown to the menu selections.

“He wants a simple barbecue buffet with fried chicken, beans, and corn on the cob. She wants food stations like sushi over here and Italian over there. He wants a country band, and she’s demanding disco and rock music and a DJ,” the source said.

However, the No Doubt singer doesn’t allegedly want country artists performing at her wedding. After all, she’s not country at heart.

Instead, Stefani has allegedly been listing down all her outrageous demands, but Shelton can’t take it anymore.

With this, the insider alleged that Shelton and Stefani are rethinking their decision to tie the knot after realizing how different they are from each other.

The unnamed source concluded their dubious claims by saying that if Shelton and Stefani can’t agree on anything, their friends want them to just postpone their big day altogether.

However, the tabloid’s claims are 100 percent false. Last month, The Voice coach confirmed that his big day is happening very soon.

In fact, Shelton and Stefani’s wedding might finally take place in the spring or at least before the former returns to The Voice Season 21 in November.

By the looks of it, Shelton and Stefani won’t postpone their wedding any longer. After all, they already had to wait a couple of months they finally got engaged because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Following their engagement last year, Shelton and Stefani said that they’re in no rush to tie the knot and settle down. After all, it’s more important for them to have all their family and friends at their wedding.

Earlier this year, Stefani graced Ryan Seacrest’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest radio show, where she shared details about her wedding plans.

She said that it’s important for her to have her parents at her wedding. But since her parents are already of age, it might not be safe for them to travel or to be around big groups of people.

Stefani’s parents also missed Thanksgiving with their entire family because of COVID-19.
