Gwyneth Paltrow is allegedly desperate to collaborate with Meghan Markle on her lifestyle website, Goop.

In its April 12 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Paltrow is going through leaps and bounds to get noticed by the Duchess of Sussex.

Since Markle used to be a lifestyle blog herself, Paltrow thinks that she would be the perfect collaborator for her.

However, a source told the tabloid that the Iron Man star has a hidden agenda that’s why she wants to work with Prince Harry’s wife. Paltrow allegedly wants to tell everyone that she’s friends with someone from the royal family.

“Gwyneth is very focused on status and loves the royal family. They’re neighbors in Montecito, so she’s been going out of her way to ingratiate herself into Meghan and Harry’s life,” the source said.

And just recently, the actress allegedly sent a box of Goop merchandise to Markle’s home. However, it is unclear if the Suits alum received it.

As of late, there is no other proof that Paltrow is trying to work with Markle on her lifestyle website, Goop. And it’s unlikely for the two A-listers to collaborate anytime soon because Markle has a ton of engagements.

Just recently, she and Prince Harry announced that they will be producing their first Netflix show very soon. Heart of Invictus will follow the lives of the wounded veterans as they prepare for the upcoming Paralympics in The Netherlands next year.

On top of this, Prince Harry and Markle are also busy with their podcast on Spotify. The couple released the first episode of their podcast around the holidays.

It is also important to note that Markle is pregnant with her second child. So, it’s unlikely that she will overwork herself. After all, the former TV actress suffered a miscarriage in July.

Now, she and Prince Harry are awaiting the arrival of their second child, a girl, in the summer.

Meanwhile, royal fans are hoping that Markle would join Prince Harry when he travels to the United Kingdom for Prince Philip’s funeral.

An OB-GYN recently told Insider that it would still be safe for Markle to travel by plane for the funeral even though she’s pregnant. After all, airlines typically allow pregnant women to travel by plane up until their 36th week.

Since Markle’s due date is not scheduled any time soon, there shouldn’t be any problems if she decides to join her husband at the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.
