Prince Harry has been seen hanging out with late-night host James Corden and a film crew in Los Angeles for a Carpool Karaoke segment in The Late Late Show.

According to TMZ, Corden gladly toured the Duke of Sussex to some of the best Hollywood spots and landmarks. Harry also discussed his life in the U.S. and his current focus as he leaves his royal life behind to work on his new foundation, Archewell.

Harry looked comfortable on the double-decker bus he and Corden rode for the carpool interview. Sources said that they were followed by a police escort and the Duke of Sussex's personal security. His wife, Meghan Markle, was not seen with him.

According to People, Harry and Corden filmed in a COVID safe environment. Corden has been friends with the Duke of Sussex for nearly 10 years. He and his wife, Julia Carey, were at the Sussex wedding in 2018. The Late Late Showepisode with Harry is expected to air this February for the "sweeps week," where TV shows in the U.S. attempt to spike ratings and bring in more viewers.

Since moving to California in March 2020, Harry has started charting a path in Hollywood with Meghan, who was a former TV actress. In September, the couple signed a production deal with Netflix to make documentaries, feature films and children's shows. In December, Harry and Meghan signed a podcast deal with Spotify and established Archewell Audio.

In November, Harry was in a video segment for Strictly Come Dancing, the British iteration of Dancing With the Stars, to support a friend who served in the military. Meghan also had a few TV appearances, including a segment in CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.

Rumors revealed that Harry and Meghan are working on bringing a new comedy series on Netflix, in the vein of Only Fools and Heroes, a British sitcom from the 1980s. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to release one of their Netflix programs this year.

Harry and Meghan are said to have filed for trademark protection for their TV and movie production with the Intellectual Property Office in the U.S. Aside from the comedy, Harry and Meghan are planning to produce a drama, thriller and an animated show.

There are no hints, however, of Meghan returning in front of the cameras to star in any of these shows despite her experience working in Suits, a popular television series on the USA Network. Sources said that the former actress has no more plans to resume her acting career as she and Harry forge ahead with Archewell Foundation and their Netflix and Spotify productions. (Business Times)
