Police arrested four girls after the group brutally stabbed a 15-year-old girl at a Walmart store in Louisiana and live-streamed the crime on social media, reports said Wednesday.

The four girls from 12 to 14 years old, were arrested Saturday following the knifing incident, a Facebook post by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office revealed on Sunday.

The four girls allegedly stole a knife from the store before fatally stabbing the older girl several times, police said.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim. After the stabbing, the girl was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance, where she died.

"The whole murder was played out on social media ... there appeared to be no remorse. It was very cold," Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso said during a press briefing,

Other footage showed the girls fleeing from the store, while one of them shouted: "Just stabbed somebody at Walmart" and said "we just stabbed that b***h in her heart. We don't give a f**k," according to The Independent.

"Oh well. F*ck that hoe. Well, she dead now," one of the girls said in a different stream on what appears to be Facebook Live.

One of the suspects, aged 13, has been charged with second-degree murder, while the other three were charged with principal to second-degree murder. The four have all been sent to a juvenile detention facility in Louisiana, police said.

The motive behind the murder has not been revealed although authorities believe the confrontation may have started at a nearby movie theater.

"This is not something we can police ourselves out. I just do not feel like this is a police matter. This is a parenting issue," Sheriff Mancuso said.
