The tabloids have been concocting all sorts of dubious claims about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt for years.

And even though A-listers have been divorced since 2005, it seems that the tabloids can’t move on from Pitt and Aniston’s relationship.

This week, New Idea claimed that the exes reunited at Turks and Caicos in the New Year. And they were joined by their friend, Flea, and his wife.

A source told the tabloid that Pitt and Aniston tried to keep their vacation a secret from the public.

So, if this is the case, one can’t help but wonder why the tabloid has been claiming to know all the juicy details from their trip.

To make their story more exciting, the tabloid also alleged that Pitt took the trip as an opportunity to propose to his ex-wife.

However, the rumored couple still hasn’t told their family and friends about their recent engagement. After all, they’re waiting for the perfect time to share the happy news with everyone.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t take much for readers to know that the tabloid is just making up bogus claims about Pitt and Aniston.

First, if Aniston and Pitt got back together, more reputable publications would’ve already reported on their relationship.

Second, if the rumored couple went on a trip to Turks and Caicos, their photos would’ve already shared online.

Aniston, who has her own Instagram account, would’ve also shared loved-up photos with Pitt.

Since photos from their so-called trip remain non-existent, it’s unlikely for Pitt and Aniston to have gone to Turks and Caicos for the New Year.

Gossip Cop also slammed the tabloid for insisting that Pitt and Aniston vacationed together when they didn’t.

“It is frustrating that the tabloids continue to maintain Aniston and Pitt are rekindling their romance when the former spouses have moved on,” the rumor-debunking site said.

They also revisited some of the tabloid’s other dubious claims about Pitt and Aniston.

Last year, New Idea claimed that the exes bought a private island together.

And in December, they claimed that Pitt has decided to dump Aniston because he will be moving back to Missouri.

However, none of these claims are true. Pitt and Aniston didn’t buy an island together. And Pitt hasn’t returned to Missouri permanently.

It is possible for the actor to have visited his parents in his hometown over the holidays. But to say that he would relocate to Missouri for good is incorrect.
