Taylor Swift took a break this week as she was spotted enjoying a relaxing walk with her 29-year-old boyfriend Joe Alwyn and his mom in London. 

The young lovebirds held hands but made sure to wear face masks so that they could stay safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The songstress has much to rejoice about as the New Year started. Folklore, her first surprise album last year, broke many records, and she followed it by another smash hit album Evermore. 

Swift and Alwyn have been dating for the last four years and have been quarantining together during the pandemic. They have shared glimpses of how they isolated themselves. The duo also wrote some great music together during the lockdown.

Meanwhile, the songstress kept herself warm for her outing by sporting a long black jacket and a pair of rouge gloves. She had a red hat to keep her head warm. 

Both she and her partner sported a casual look in their jeans as they looked for some fresh air amid the countrywide lockdown. Alwyn donned a black padded jacket as he enjoyed his stroll with his mom and girlfriend. 

She had earlier revealed her and her boyfriend’s shared passion for sad songs. The duo had reportedly worked together on multiple songs on her Evermore album. Swift had also revealed that they share a similar taste in music. 

Taylor Swift told Zane Lowe while giving an interview on Apple Music that she and Joe Alwyn are in love with sad songs. They have bonded over music always, according to the songstress. 

Alwyn used the pseudonym William Bowery on the album. He helped the Grammy Award-winning singer with the lyrics of tracks such as Evermore, Coney Island, and Champagne Problems. Additionally, the British actor had collaborated with her on penning Betty and Exile for the earlier album Folklore. 

Swift also mentioned that her boyfriend has always loved playing musical instruments, and it is nothing new. She meant to say that he always had a passion for music in him.

However, she feels that had there been no lockdown, their collaboration would not have taken place. So, she was glad that the lockdown took place, according to Daily Mail. 

Meanwhile, a report had claimed that Swift was in a rush to get married to her boyfriend after her mom was diagnosed with cancer. However, Gossip Cop had slammed the report as incorrect. 

Their walk also comes after the talented musician broke another record. Her album Folklore emerged as the fifth highest-selling album of 2020 in America. She is the first singer to enjoy such an achievement. 

Taylor Swift’s eighth studio album did a business of 1.26 million after its release in July last year. It is the sole album that did a minimum business of a million units, according to MRC Data.
