Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are once again under the scrutiny of royal fans after they were accused of purposely overshadowing Kate Middleton’s birthday celebration.

The royal pair have been keeping themselves busy in the United States. Their commercial ventures, such as Netflix and their recently launched podcast series with Spotify, have kept the two’s name on the headlines.

On the one hand, Kate Middleton has been keeping her personal life private and only attending important royal duties from time to time.

Over the weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the media world when they announced their plans to not have any official accounts on any social media platform.

This news announcement coincided with Kate Middleton’s 39th birthday, which pushed the joyous event aside.

The Cambridge’s official Instagram account uploaded a photo of Kate Middleton on the day of her birthday with the caption saying that she was very thankful for the well greetings people have sent her way.

“Thank you for your kind wishes on the Duchess’ birthday. Birthdays have been very different in recent months, and our thoughts continue to be with all those working on the front line at this hugely challenging time,” the caption says.

This is a stark contrast to what the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been advocating lately, wherein they have spoken about the unfairness that comes with social media.

Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan decidedly spoke about their opinion on social media, with Meghan confessing that she was bothered by the insistent bullying towards her.

Apparently, as she claims, she was the most trolled person in the entire world. The couple has then renounced social media, calling out big social media corporations to have a better filter system on their platforms.

Several of the Sussex’s announcements have arguably been revealed in moments where the royal family is also announcing an important matter.

Coincidence or not, royal fans' continuous accusations towards Meghan and Harry’s PR stunts have become out of hand.

The Royal Firm, including Kate Middleton, has been very patient with the Duke and Duchess’s ventures.

Kate’s birthday was celebrated this year quietly, with Prince William and their three children apparently preparing a very quaint tea party for her. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, together with their children Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, are isolating in their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.
