Tessa Thompson had an adventurous New Year’s Eve! Yes, the 37-year-old actress opened up about the car accident that took place on the last day of 2020. The actress revealed that her vehicle got hit by a Monster Truck.

The actress recently appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show and shed light on her entire experience. Thomspon said that she stayed inside her house for a long time, and she decided to spend New Year's Eve in another house.

The actress acknowledged the ongoing pandemic situation and asked herself the safest option to celebrate the last day. The Lady and the Tramp star said that she thought nothing could be safer than traveling from one house to another.

In fact, she considered this as an activity, which she will perform solo and stay safe from coronavirus. However, it seems the actress didn't see something huge coming her way. Yes, the actress further explained how she drove her car up to the mountain to reach a cabin.

The actress laughed off and said that she got into a car accident while it should still be considered "socially distanced interaction." Thompson said that it wasn't a regular car accident with another car. In fact, it was a big monster truck that banged her car, and it had a huge impact on her vehicle.

While the actress confirmed that she is absolutely safe after the accident, it was extremely scary to get hit by such a huge vehicle. The actress noted that the monster truck driver was a lovely person and disclosed that none of them was physically hurt.

The actress further explained that she is used to such car accidents. She said that being born in a city like Los Angeles makes it seem like no big deal. In fact, she jokingly said that accidents seem to like her birthright.

"I think after this year, there's such gratitude at being alive. It was sort of the sweetest loveliest accident of all the ones I've had in a way," the actress said. Thomspon admitted that the accident made total sense to her as it was 2020, and it's the way this year would have come to an end.

On the work front, the actress is all set to start filming for Creed 3, in which Michael B. Jordan is portraying the lead role and Thor: Love and Thunder opposite Chris Hemsworth. Previously, the actress revealed that Christian Bale would portray the villain in the superhero movie.
