Ellen DeGeneres recently sparked rumors that she and Portia de Rossi have divorced.

In its Jan. 11 issue, Woman’s Day published photos of DeGeneres during her walkabouts in Los Angeles. And they emphasized the fact that the comedian isn’t wearing her wedding ring.

A source told the tabloid that the Ellen Show host is known for ditching her wedding ring every time she and de Rossi get into a fight.

Following a nine-month lockdown, DeGeneres and de Rossi’s marriage, allegedly, fell apart. And this time around, there’s no way for the couple to salvage their relationship.

“Ellen and Portia have been on the edge for months, ever since she got battered in the press when it came out she’s a total tyrant to her staff. The fact that she’s not wearing her wedding ring makes a lot of people think that her marriage to Portia might be another victim of her horror year,” the source said.

The insider also claimed to know what DeGeneres thinks about her wedding ring.

They said that the comedian loves it so much so there’s no reason for her to take it off.

Meanwhile, the source also insisted that DeGeneres becomes mean when she’s stressed. So, it’s highly likely that she was mean to de Rossi while they were holed up at home.

Luckily for the Ally McBeal star, she no longer has to put up with her wife because the tabloid insisted that they already filed for divorce.

There has been a slew of rumors surrounding DeGeneres and de Rossi. Before the tabloid claimed that they are divorcing, other tabloids insisted that the couple is renewing their wedding vows.

In its Dec. 28 issue, Globe claimed that DeGeneres expressed her desire to renew her wedding vows to de Rossi after realizing how supportive the latter was during a very difficult year.

A source claimed that when DeGeneres told her wife about her plans to renew their vows, de Rossi was immediately on board.

The Scandal alum will be in charge of looking for a wedding venue. And she will also be the one to pick out their attires.

However, Gossip Cop recently debunked the tabloid’s claims by saying that DeGeneres and de Rossi aren’t renewing their vows.

And even if they are planning on having a second wedding ceremony, it won’t take place anytime soon.

After all, DeGeneres just tested positive for COVID-19. And it’s still not safe to host big gatherings with their families and friends.
