Chloe Bennet has been diagnosed with COVID-19. The 28-year-old actress took social media to disclose her coronavirus positive result and said she took all the precautions. The actress shared on her Instagram story about her battle with the ongoing pandemic.

The Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors star revealed on Dec. 31 that the morning she woke up to celebrate Christmas, she had a high fever. She began her Instagram story by acknowledging her absence on social media and said that she was not active for a while and updated her followers about her health.

The actress noticed symptoms of coronavirus as she was unable to breathe and also had a high fever. She immediately got tested for coronavirus, and the result marked positive. She further said that it had been a difficult week for her because she is not the only one infected in her family.

She disclosed that other family members also being contracted the virus and said that they all are battling the disease together. Bennet noted that all members of the family are not clear yet, but health-wise, they are doing much better.

"I'm sharing this because I want to iterate to anyone who still may not be taking COVID-19 seriously, please please please f--k--- do," she said. Moreover, she noted how this virus sucks. In fact, she said that she used to wear a mask and always took pride in staying fit and healthy.

She also maintained the social distancing rule while following all the safety measures and taking necessary precautions. However, she further said that she still got contracted the virus. She mentioned being a lucky person as she is healthy, young, and always been diligent about fitness and health.

Although this virus is powerful enough to knock her down, she confessed that even the note she wrote on Instagram is being an exhausting task for her because of this virus. The actress further said that if it can happen to her, then it can happen to anyone.

Bennet concluded her message by encouraging everyone to take the necessary precautions amid the ongoing pandemic and take the virus seriously. Moreover, she urged her fans and followers to stay healthy and safe during the holiday season.
