Tom Hanks shares his new haircut with his fans for a new biopic of Elvis Presley. The talented actor portrays the role of Colonel Tom Parker, who was Presley’s Manager.

Hanks has mimicked the hairstyle of Colonel Parker in the new biopic about Elvis. The haircut did not flatter his looks as he had to go bald to copy the hairstyle of the manager. 

The Circle star shared his new look with followers while being remotely interviewed on The Graham Norton Show this Tuesday. The 64-year-old asked the host to look at his new hairstyle.

He also revealed that his new look had scared the kids, and he wanted to apologize for that. The Saving Private Ryan actor has been lately busy with the promotion of his newly released film News of the World. 

The actor came back to Australia this September so that he could shoot for the Elvis Presley biopic. For the universe, the actor was tested positive with COVID and had to stop shooting for the film in March.

Both Tom, as well as, his spouse Rita Wilson had to stay in the hospital for many days after they were diagnosed with the deadly virus. After they recovered and quarantined, the couple returned to Los Angeles from Queensland.

The 57-year-old Australian director Baz mentioned that they were keen to resume shooting on the biopic. Austin Butler, who acted in the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, will be portraying the role of the musical legend in the film. 

The director gushed about Tom Hanks’ return to Australia so that he could join the cast and crew there to commence filming for the movie. It seems the locals of Queensland have been extremely supportive of the movie, according to Daily Mail. 

In other news, Hanks’ recently released film News of the World is about a war veteran in the 19th century who makes sure that an orphan girl reunites with her relatives across Texas. 

Paul Greengrass, the director of the film, revealed that it was the first movie he directed with a child actor in the lead role. The moment he saw Helena Zengal, an 11-year-old German child actor, he knew she was meant for the role. 

While the character plays one of the most important roles in the film, she does not have many dialogues. Since she had many scenes with a superstar in the stature of Hanks, it was a major challenge for her, which she executed beautifully, according to the director. 

News of the World hit the theaters on Dec. 25 in movie halls in America and Canada. It will be streamed on Netflix in other places from February 2021, according to The New York Times. Tom Hanks and Helena Zengel will be seen in the lead roles in this film.
