Nicole Kidman recently declared the completion of the shooting of her limited series on Hulu titled Nine Perfect Strangers. She took to social media and shared a photo with co-star Melissa McCarthy to celebrate the wrap up this Tuesday. 

Nine Perfect Strangers is a new drama series, which is slated to stream on Hulu in 2021. This miniseries is based on a novel with the same title penned by Liane Moriarty.

The novel was published in 2018, and the drama reunites the creator of Big Little Lies, David E. Kelly, and its star Kidman. Jonathan Levine has directed all eight episodes. Apart from Kidman and Melissa McCarthy, the series also has other actors such as Regina Hall, Bobby Cannavale, Samara Weaving, Manny Jacinto, and Luke Evans. 

The Oscar Award-winning actress will be seen in the role of Masha, and she is also the series producer alongside Bruna Papandrea, its executive producer.  The Undoing star has been associated with the project from the beginning. She acquired the book rights even before it came out in July 2018. 

Kidman took to her Instagram handle and posted an adorable picture where she and McCarthy can be seen with their back towards the camera. Both the actresses had their right arms up and showed the peace sign.

The 53-year-old donned a pretty white dress and sat alongside her 50-year-old American friend on a grassy hill that overlooked the ocean. Meanwhile, The Heat actress sported a floral frock and shared the same picture on her Instagram handle. 

Nicole Kidman also sent her love and expressed her thanks to the cast and crew of the series in her caption, mentioning that they could achieve this impossible in 2020. On the other hand, Melissa McCarthy jested in her caption that two women of the same height were bidding adieu to the current year by declaring a wrap on their upcoming series. 

Before her Instagram post, The Daily Telegraph had reported that Kidman was on the verge of completing her two weeks of compulsory quarantine at her plush Southern Highlands estate in New South Wales, after traveling to Ireland,

Keith Urban and Kidman’s sprawling Southern Highlands property features conventional sandstone verandahs, a grand cedar staircase, as well as, multiple original fireplaces. The couple also installed a gym, a tennis court, and a swimming pool inside their property after purchasing it. 

Nicole Kidman had to be in Ireland to shoot for the historical Viking film, The Northman alongside her co-stars Ethan Hawke and Alexander Skarsgard, according to Daily Mail
