Cast and crew members had to be sent home after a member tested positive with COVID-19 on the LA set of Brad Pitt’s action-thriller Bullet Train

Coronavirus has hit Pitt’s latest film, Bullet Train, as a crew member was diagnosed with the deadly pandemic. It is being said that the crew member who was tested positive was asymptomatic.

Insiders claim that no other person has tested positive on the set. All cast and crew members who had been in proximity to the infected person had to undergo tests according to the prevailing protocol. The studio also wanted to be cautious so that its shooting does not get stalled.

Hollywood is trying its best to make sure that the COVID-19 does not hit the production of its projects. Studios are also spending a lot of money to develop proper safety protocols.

The idea is to make sure that shooting for the TV shows and films could be resumed as fast as possible, according to Variety. However, it has still not been easy to keep the sets entirely free from the pandemic's outbreak.

Incidentally, Pitt also had to be tested as he had been in contact with the crew member who tested positive. Reports have it that even Pitt had to be sent home because of this. Although, it has been confirmed that the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor has tested negative several times.

Production for the film has not been stopped as no other person has tested positive for the virus, according to Entertainment Times. Meanwhile, there have been reports that Lady Gaga might be seen as Brad Pitt’s co-star in Bullet Train.

The film is based on a Japanese novel called Maria Beetle and has been penned by Kotaro Isaka. Incidentally, Zak Olkewicz adapted the story and created the screenplay of the film.

Apart from Pitt, some other actors who are part of the cast include Joey King, Andrew Koji, Brian Tyree Henry, and Aaron Taylor Johnson. The Fight Club star will be seen portraying the character of Ladybug in this much-anticipated film. Michael Shannon will also be seen in an interesting role in the film. David Leitch, who is a co-producer of the movie, is also directing the film.

Meanwhile, it has been around 15 years when Pitt met Angelina Jolie while shooting for Mr. and Mrs. Smith and started dating each other. The actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston then and decided to split from her.

Pitt and Angie had gone to Ethiopia to adopt her first child. It was during this trip that the Troy actor had flu-like symptoms. At that time, Ethiopia was struggling with highly infectious meningitis.

Luckily for Brad Pitt, he was ailing from viral meningitis. But he still had to come back to America for his treatment, according to Mirror.co.in.
