While talking to Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Call of the Outdoors podcast host Matt Morrett, the popular country music singer divulged more details about his love for hunting a myriad of animals. He said that he now has Gwen's three kids wanting to catch their food.

Blake is without an iota of doubt capable of teaching the boys how to hunt, fish, set up a trap, and identify edible mushrooms, but he doesn't fancy homeschooling his girlfriend's kids. According to The Inquisitr, Gwen and her children including Apollo, 6, Zuma, 11, and Kingston, 13, have spent two months at Blake's isolated ranch in Oklahoma.

They moved there to avoid the COVID-19 pandemic. Blake is currently helping Gwen's children with their schoolwork without ignoring social distancing and distance learning. Kingston is now taking algebra much to the chagrin of the Hell Right singer, who isn't particularly good at math.

Referring to homeschooling the kids amid the coronavirus pandemic, Blake said it isn't helping his alcoholism since the kids keep asking him several questions about algebra, which he admits, he didn't even pass in school, leave along trying to help them. Matt immediately reminded Blake that he did a great job in math to start his own vodka company, but that didn't seem to make him feel any better about his recently adopted role as a math teacher.

“Homeschooling is my hell,” Blake said. Much to his relief, he doesn't need to spend all his time with Gwen's kids doing something he doesn't enjoy. He revealed that the boys asked him to teach them to catch crayfish, so they are planning to set up some sort of traps on a creek that runs through his property.

Blake said the boys wanted to catch crustaceans because they wanted to eat them, which made him happy. The 43-year-old eight-time Grammy Award nominee said he loves the fact that the boys are bent on waking up early in the morning and wanting to indulge in outdoor activities.

Moreover, Blake is happy to see that the kids are interested in using the edible natural resources that they currently have access to. The singer said he is happy to see that the children want to harvest what God put on this planet for us. Regrettably, the boys could only manage to capture a few crawdads, meaning, they wouldn't get to feast on the tiny critters.

Blake noted that it is that time of the year when rattlesnakes are more active in Oklahoma, making treks through the woods slightly riskier than usual. While talking about poisonous snakes, Blake said by the time this homeschooling thing comes to an end, his body will be found on top of a rattlesnake den, where he would be trying to figure out a long division.
