Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are, allegedly, facing a ton of problems in their marriage.

In its Dec. 21 issue, Globe claimed that Michelle is furious over how Barack gloated that his memoir sold more copies on its first day than his wife’s memoir, Becoming.

A source told the tabloid that Michelle felt humiliated when Barack joked about their book sales during his appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.

The insider said that the ex-FLOTUS has had it with her husband’s self-serving attitude. And she’s demanding more respect from Barack.

According to the source, the couple has also been bickering nonstop over Michelle’s celebrity friends and her plans to start a career in California.

“Michelle has gotten more dissatisfied with her role in the shadows. Now it’s her time to shine,” the source said.

If Barack doesn’t get his act together and become more supportive, the former first lady could file a divorce from her husband.

Meanwhile, the tabloid also revisited their dubious claims about the couple a few months ago.

In her memoir Becoming, Michelle admitted that her marriage to Barack is not all rainbows and unicorns.

The ex-FLOTUS said that just like all other marriages, there were times when she wanted to throw her husband out of the window.

Michelle also admitted that there were times when she felt alone because Barack was busy with his work.

The tabloid took Michelle’s words out of context and said that the ex-FLOTUS resents her husband. And this is why she wanted to throw Barack out of the window.

However, this isn’t the case. And it isn’t also true that Michelle is upset because Barack managed to sell more copies of his book on the first day that it was released.

During his interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Barack made the comment as a joke after the host asked him who sold more copies.

Barack also said that he doesn’t rub the fact that he sold more copies than his wife at the dinner table.

The former first couple is known for their hilarious banter. As such, it’s unlikely for Michelle to be upset.

Barack and Michelle are also very supportive of each other. When Michelle went on tour to promote Becoming, Barack made several appearances to surprise her.

If not for COVID-19, Michelle would’ve also joined Barack on his tour to promote A Promise Land.

The couple has been married since 1992, and this proves that their relationship is doing well.
