The Kardashian-Jenner family may have ended the show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but it looks like it won’t be the last time they will be seen on television. Among announcements made by Disney during its recent investor presentation is that the famous family will now be seen on Hulu.

Deadline says that the multi-year deal the family signed with Disney will involve different projects involving the famous family. The first project is expected to air in the latter part of 2021, with Hulu streaming it in the United States and Disney’s Star elsewhere in the world.

As noted by the publication, this transfer seems in line with what the family planned when they ended Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The family had hoped to expand beyond linear television, resulting in them leaving the 14-year-old reality show.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Disney chose to house the upcoming Kardashian projects on Hulu. It appears that subscribers of the streaming service are big consumers of unscripted television shows.

Collaborating on the upcoming Kardashian projects will be advantageous to both Hulu and the Kardashians. The streaming service will now have a crown jewel among its unscripted shows, while the Kardashians will further extend their international reach with Disney’s Star service.

The Kardashians are certainly adept at drawing an audience, as evidenced by the hundreds of episodes of their 20-season show. The family has also been able to produce spin-off shows from Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Keeping Up With the Kardashians has also come up with a lot of moments that often end up being water-cooler conversations, such as Khloe Kardashian’s revelation that she tested positive for the coronavirus.

Kardashian made the announcement in a teaser for the episode, where she said that she had been suffering from fluctuating body temperature, headaches, and vomiting. She also added that every time she coughed, she felt a burning sensation in her chest.

Before the revelation, Kris Jenner shared that she had been looking for doctors to help out her daughter. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian West already guessed that her sister had the disease because of how sick she was.

A new Kardashian show on Hulu and Star would also be great pandemic fodder for the rest of the world, who will likely still be stuck at home because of the global coronavirus pandemic until next.

According to the latest update from the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 dashboard, there are now 67,210,778 confirmed COVID-19 cases around the world. Globally, the number of people that have died from COVID-19 is now at 1,540,777.
