Prince William, Kate Middleton Move On From Rose Hanbury Cheating Scandal
Prince William and Kate Middleton have seemingly moved on from last year’s scandal.
In 2019, rumors swirled that Prince William had an affair with Rose Hanbury.
While the allegations were never confirmed or denied by the Duke of Cambridge, New Idea claimed that it’s evident he and his wife have moved on from it.
Earlier this week, Prince William and Middleton embarked on their Royal Train tour of Scotland, England, and Wales.
And during one of their outings, royal commentator Angela Levin said that Prince William and Middleton looked very relaxed because they are no longer under attack.
Levin added that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure must have also made the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge feel more relaxed.
With this, the tabloid alleged that another reason why the Cambridges are more at ease with their public displays of affection is that they’ve buried the hatchet over last year’s scandal.
Back then, other tabloids claimed that Prince William and Middleton were divorcing after the latter found out that the former had an affair.
Globe took their allegations a notch higher when they said that Prince William and Middleton have officially split in May of last year.
A source told the tabloid that Middleton lost a considerable amount of weight after she found out that Prince William cheated on her.
But after having a trial separation with Prince William, the royal couple, allegedly, decided that it’s best if they divorce for good.
The insider also claimed that Queen Elizabeth is upset that things got so out of hand. But the monarch is, allegedly, putting most of the blame on the future queen consort.
However, over a year has passed and Prince William and Middleton are still together. In fact, they never had a trial separation.
By the looks of it, Globe was just taking inspiration from what happened to Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage years ago.
After tying the knot in 1981, it was announced that Prince Charles and Princess Diana had a trial separation in 1992.
Following Princess Diana’s interview with Martin Bashir for Panorama, the queen urged the couple to divorce.
In 1996, the Prince and Princess of Wales announced their divorce.
As for Prince William and Middleton, the couple looks happy as ever. In fact, body language expert Judi James told Femail that the couple is more affectionate towards each other during their recent royal engagement.
