It's a merry happy birthday to the 39-year-old American songstress, dancer, and Disney alum, Britney Spears!

Britney Spears sings what it feels like Swimming In The Stars

On Dec. 2 (Wednesday), Britney celebrated her 39th birthday, alongside gifting her fans a new piece of music. The songstress made a new music release on the same day of her birthday through Swimming In The Stars.

Hollywood Life reported that the said song is a never-before-hear track from her Glory album, back in 2016. Moreover, Swimming In the Stars was recorded in heels for her 2016 album to come out and was dug by RCA records to celebrate the singer's birthday.

Swimming In The Stars was written by Dan Book, Matthew Koma, and Alexei Misoul and was purposely made for Britney. The singers' vocals best match the song's lyricism and rhythm; as Britney tells the listeners how wonderful it is to swim in the stars.

"So let's go / Swimming in the stars tonight/And we'll go / Shimmer in the diamond lights / We'll dive in / Headfirst, all the way down / In gravity's arms we'll drown / The world is ours," part of the lyrics sing.

According to USA Today, the songstress's beloved fans can stream Swimming In The Stars on various streaming platforms worldwide. At the same time, a special vinyl edition was made available for pre-order via Urban Outfitters. It costs for $16.98, which faces a kick-off shipping event on Jan. 15, 2021.

People disclosed about the song's vinyl edition; it is a piece of the brand's 11/11 Singles Day, joining other vinyl entries of other singers. It included Fifth Harmony's Work From Home, Billie Eilish's Everything I Wanted feat. Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion's Savage, Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl (MTV Unplugged Version), and Shawn Mendes' Wonder.

Britney Spears headlines various news sites before her birthday

The Till The World Ends singer's legal team was in court last month to fight in ending the conservatorship of her father. Her father's said role took place for 12 years already, leading the songstress to commit mental issues.

Furthermore, Britney's mental breakdowns and unusual behavior led her to lose the custody fight for her two songs against their father, Kevin Federline.

Britney's father, James Spears, is said to be the one in control of the singer's life and also her wealth. On the other hand, James continues to fight for what he thinks is right by saying Britney is not yet ready to become independent.
