Michael Schumacher's son shares shocking news

Meanwhile, recently, Michael Schumacher’s son, Mick, shared heart-wrenching news to his father’s devoted supporters. It was announced, on Wednesday, that Mick will be racing with Haas in Formula One in 2021. Mick even chose the number 47 on his car, which was inspired by the Formula One legend’s seven world championship wins.

“Definitely ‘seven’ is partly because of that but it’s also just a. number I generally like personally, and I guess also our family, we like seven,” Mick Schumacher shared. The son of Michael Schumacher explained that, since numbers four and seven are taken by Lando Norris and Kimi Raikkonen respectively, he thinks that combining them together is the best choice.

Mick revealed to RaceFans he feels so proud that he is given the opportunity to be in the same sports where his father flourished as a person. He even expressed his joy over the fact that he, already, reached one of his goals, which is to become part of Formula One. Mick added he feels “a bit overwhelmed” and “happy” that he will be standing on the grid in 2021.

Before the big event, the son of Michael Schumacher will have his preparation sessions with the rest of the Haas team in Abu Dhabi. Mick is, also, expected to have some tunning at the same track at the season finale. He is the third member of the Schumacher family to be able to join the Formula One competition – first was his uncle, Ralf Schumacher, followed by his father, Michael.
