Yet another celebrity is on the bad side of the public as it has been revealed that they may have broken lockdown rules with regards to gatherings. The latest celebrity to face public backlash is singer Rita Ora.

The Daily Mail reports that the singer held a party that was attended by dozens of her friends. The party was reportedly held at a West London restaurant and had 30 of Ora’s friends as guests.

The gathering and the number of guests go against rules and guidelines set by the United Kingdom government, which has called on its citizens to avoid social gatherings to slow the spread of the coronavirus in the United Kingdom.

Nicholas Fallows, the director of the restaurant Casa Cruz where the party reportedly took place, said that he was not aware of the event happening.

The Sun says that some of the celebrities spotted at the birthday party include Delevingne sisters Cara and Poppy, reality star Vas Morgan, and Rita’s sister Elena Ora.

The publication also published photos of police officers visiting the restaurant. The officers were reportedly responding to reports of a breach of COVID-19 regulations and are seen trying to open a door as well as peering through the restaurant’s windows.

The public reaction has not been positive, with The Sun collecting angry opinions from ordinary citizens. The publication quotes a hospital worker saying that it is frustrating to have some people not following rules when others have sacrificed their own celebrations.

A mother quoted by The Sun called Ora “selfish,” while a project manager interviewed by the publication slammed how Ora seemed to think that the rules for everybody’s safety don’t apply to her.

Similar public outrage also happened across the pond when Kendall Jenner’s Halloween party was exposed on social media. Meant to celebrate her 25th birthday, the celebration had 100 people attend.

Some of the celebrity partygoers in attendance include Saweetie, Doja Cat, Winnie Harlow, Jaden Smith, Justin Bieber, and The Weeknd. Just like with Ora’s party, public opinion was very negative.

One Twitter user blasted the hypocrisy of some of the celebrities attending, as they had been posting about following health and safety regulations while attending a party at the same time. Some tweets also outright called for the public to “eat the rich.”

Even before Jenner’s party, the Kardashians were already under fire for yet another party. Kim Kardashian West was blasted for revealing in a series of tweets that she held a party on a private island for her 40th birthday party with her family and celebrity friends.
