John Legend celebrated Thanksgiving with his wife, Chrissy Teigen, and children. The 41-year-old singer and songwriter shared an appreciation post on social media on this special occasion. The actor wrote that he is grateful for having three people in his life as he shared a story on his Instagram of a champagne bottle.

On the other hand, Teigen couldn't hold back to share her excitement as she posted multiple Instagram stories featuring her mother. The 34-year-old model shared his glammed up dress in pink along with Thanksgiving preparation.

The couple seems to be celebrating Thanksgiving with only close people. Legend shared a picture of his wife and two kids, daughter Luna Simone, 4, and son Miles Theodore, 2. In the picture, the mother of two and the kids posed on the stairs of their house. The model posted a couple of videos of a prime rib roast and some mushrooms, which she cooked for the holiday season.

"Just gonna do all these mushrooms psychedelically and have the best f--ing Thanksgiving ever," she laughed. In an interview with People, Teigen revealed that she wants to downsize the occasion celebration this year.

She further said that she just doesn't want to see food getting wasted. She said that she has been hosting a party for a decade, but now, she is tired of looking at the food being wasted. Looking at the pictures and videos shared by the model, it is clear that she is passionate about cooking and good food.

It isn't surprising that wasting food is something that doesn't go well with Teigen. She disclosed that everyone on Thanksgiving would have staples, and then they will be enjoying a football match. Teigen believed that the plan is to have a beautiful evening with close-knit family members.

Moreover, she noted that she doesn't want to get up early in the morning to ensure that the meal is done for the entire week. Instead, she did like to enjoy family time and food while they have it. Two months ago, the couple lost their baby son, Jack, following the pregnancy complications.

The model has been vocal about her dark phase following the tragic news and revealed the grief she and her husband is going through. She admitted being in a dark bubble and not being able to express what is going on in her head. However, she took social media to inform her fans that she is doing her best.
