Kate Middleton has, reportedly, been a wonderful support system for Prince William.

In fact, royal experts are convinced that this is one of the best qualities of a future queen consort.

Years ago, Middleton already exhibited signs that she will support Prince William no matter what. And royal biographer Christopher Wilson detailed how this came out while the royal couple was still boyfriend and girlfriend.

While speaking with The Australian Women's Weekly, Wilson said that Prince William came at a crossroads in his life while studying at St. Andrew’s University.

The future king was struggling in his art history course and was thinking of quitting. But Middleton encouraged him to switch to geography instead.

According to Wilson, Prince William is forever grateful to Middleton for saving him during that crisis. And it was one of the many times that he felt that Middleton is really the one for him.

The royal biographer also said that there was a time wherein Middleton served as Prince William’s therapist because he was going through mental anguish.

At one point, the Duke of Cambridge felt that everyone was expecting too much from him and he, reportedly, took shelter in Middleton’s arms.

Years after they tied the knot, Prince William and Middleton are currently preparing for their future roles as king and queen of Britain.

According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge has plans to modernize the monarchy when it’s time for her and Prince William to lead the country.

For instance, she will, reportedly, focus on utilizing social media to reach a wider audience. But Middleton will also try to get rid of the outdated rules and protocols that the royal family is still using.

Battle of Brothers author, Robert Lacey revealed that Prince William also has some bold ideas for when he becomes king.

However, Queen Elizabeth is, reportedly, not thrilled to learn from palace courtiers how her grandson has been boasting about his plans.

In 2009, royal author Katie Nicholl detailed a conversation she had with Prince William. The latter, reportedly, told him that he wants to be more than an ornament when he becomes king because his goal is to make a difference.

Unfortunately, it’s still going to take several years before Prince William and Middleton could head the monarchy.

After all, the queen is still the reigning monarch. And after she passes away, Prince Charles will be crowned as king.
