The plan for extinction is in place, and Tokyo Empire might be laid to waste in Fire Force Season 2, Episode 22. The next episode is called Plot For Extinction.

The official Fire Force Season 2, Episode 22 preview trailer has been released indicating what happens next.

“The Tokyo Empire will be laid to waste. Next time on Fire Force Season 2, Episode 22, Plot for Extinction,” reads the preview text.

In the last episode of the series, Juggernaut is badly injured after the battle. He is bleeding profusely but wants to continue moving forward.

However, Tamaki feels that it would be disastrous and they need to stop his bleeding first. Juggernaut wants Tamaki to move ahead and leave him behind before more Infernals arrive.

Tamaki vows to take Juggernaut back to the surface, no matter what happens. She powers up and faces the Infernals who have gathered near them.

In the meantime, Takehisa Hinawa and Takigi Oze are dealing with Infernals at some other part inside the Nether. Hinawa reveals that Company 8 uses Takigi’s sister Maki as a meat shield.

Takigi is shocked when he learns that Hinawa is allowing something extremely dangerous. Takigi is concerned about Maki fighting on the frontlines of the missions.

Later, they are confronted by Iron, Knight of the Purple Haze. Hinawa finds it funny that the White Clad member is announcing himself on the battlefield. Hinawa’s gun has no effect on Iron. Meanwhile, Takigi steps in.

Elsewhere, Shinra notes that the squad has gone into panic mode. His thoughts are interrupted when he is ambushed by Dr. Giovanni. Shinra wonders what he is scheming in the Nether.

Dr. Giovanni reveals the Special Fire Force has just walked into a trap set by him. Shinra attacks him, but Dr. Giovanni is able to deflect the attack. He tells Shinra that he is not like anything he has seen before.

Dr. Giovanni transforms his body as extra limbs start to grow out of his body, making him look like a giant insect. Shinra is shocked to see the transformation. The villain reveals that their objective is to get hold of Shinra.

Fire Force Season 2, Episode 22 is scheduled to hit the airwaves on Friday, Nov. 27 at 11:55 a.m. ET.
