There are ongoing investigations regarding Princess Diana’s 1995 interview with Martin Bashir for Panorama.

And according to Globe, the journalist cannot solely be blamed for exploiting Princess Diana’s innocence.

After all, the royals, particularly Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip also, allegedly, had a hand in making sure that Princess Diana would become paranoid about her safety and the safety of her sons.

A source told the tabloid that the royal couple saw Princess Diana as a threat to the British monarchy and to Prince Charles after she confirmed the heir to the throne’s affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.

And the royal family’s initial reaction was to silence the Princess of Wales. Two years after the controversial interview, Princess Diana died in a car crash.

The source said that the royal family didn’t also like the idea that Princess Diana was going to get married again after her split from Prince Charles. To make things worse, she was, allegedly, going to get engaged to Muslim man Dodi Al-Fayed.

According to the tabloid, the royal family made sure to keep the records of Princess Diana’s killers a secret to this day. And this has been one of their biggest cover-ups and conspiracies at the highest level.

More specifically, the insider claimed that Prince Philip and the queen were the ones that hired people to convince Princess Diana that she was being followed.

They were also the ones that urged Bashir to warn Princess Diana about the Swatch watch given to Prince William. The journalist, allegedly, told the late royal that Prince Charles put a listening device in the watch to spy on her.

All the threats were done to push Princess Diana into paranoia because she was regarded as weak and fragile. And this also gave Prince Charles ammunition to divorce Princess Diana even after she refused.

Following the Panorama interview, the queen, reportedly, ordered the Prince and Princess of Wales to divorce.

However, there is no concrete proof that the queen and Prince Philip were the ones that ordered Princess Diana’s murder. There’s also no proof that they tricked the late royal.

Today, Princess Diana’s brother, Charles, Earl Spencer is launching an investigation into the 1995 interview of his late sister.

And Prince William also gave his blessing to push through with the investigation. He said that it’s a step in the right direction because the investigation will help establish the truth behind what led Princess Diana to give the interview to Bashir.
