Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, who first met in 2014 on The Voice, were romantically linked in 2016 after their respective divorces. After they announced their engagement in October, avid followers of the two singers are thrilled to see them exchanging their wedding vows at the altar.

Both Stefani and Shelton have remained tight-lipped about their wedding plans, leaving their fans' imagination when and how the pair will take their relationship to the next level. Much to the relief of the couple's massive fanbase, some insiders have suggested that they may be planning to tie the knot before this year comes to an end.

Stefani and Shelton have been dodging questions about their plans to walking down the aisle for quite some time now. The 44-year-old country singer finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend earlier this fall, announcing their engagement on their social media platforms. They opted to keep their wedding plans under wraps.

According to an insider, Shelton proposed to the pop singer in Oklahoma on their private ranch at a chapel since he felt it was the perfect place to propose to her since it has so much importance to the both of them. Gwen loves the chapel so much that she has a necklace with a charm of the chapel, the insider added.

While fans have restlessly been waiting for Shelton to get down on one knee, the insider said it is right for them to get engaged. The source went on to say that Gwen and Shelton are very much in love, and since they have both been married before, they are bent on making this their last marriage and are sure that they are each other's soulmates.

Shelton got a stunning $500,000 ring for proposing to his girlfriend. The ring is adorned by a classic, six-prong setting with a 6-carat solitaire diamond, which is set either in a white gold or platinum band, according to the VP of Strategy and Merchandising at the Brilliant Earth jewelry brand, according to Us Weekly.

More importantly, it seems they already have their wedding plans nailed down, with them planning to tie the knot once the unprecedented coronavirus pandemic comes to an end so that they could celebrate with close friends and family members. A source told HollywoodLife this plan is likely to come to fruition later next year when everyone is hopefully out of the still raging pandemic.

Another insider told HollywoodLife that, for wedding plans, Blake and Gwen want to do an intimate ceremony. Are you excited about this adorable couple's impending wedding? Let us know in the comments section below.
