According to Fire Force Season 2, Episode 21 synopsis, Dr. Giovanni appears in front of Shinra with the power of Variant. It is likely fans will be treated with a battle.

Even the preview trailer suggests that Shinra is ambushed by Giovanni. The current Operation Nether Investigation arc is reaching its peaks with a battle featuring Shinra and Giovanni, who has joined the White Clad gang.

It will be interesting to see who will win this contest in Fire Force Season 2, Episode 21.

Meanwhile, in the last Fire Force Season 2 episode, Company 8 and Company 2 team up for a joint mission that involves them investigating the Nether. However, to their shock, CID gets involved too in the mission.

Before Maki could attack, she has whipped by Orochi, and she could only endure the attacks. However, she is still able to survive the attacks, but this only means she is set to suffer more. 

Maki remember Shinra's words that if she gets in trouble again, she can call him anytime. She screams for him, but he is nowhere to be seen. However, Juggernaut comes to save her life from the threat of Orochi.
