The next part of the training is set to begin for Noelle and the others who joined the Black Bulls in Black Clover Episode 153. The new installment is called The Chosen Ones.

The official preview trailer for Black Clover Episode 153 has been released after the showrunners aired episode 152 of the series.

“It has been a year since the kid and Noelle joined the Black Bulls. Time sure does fly. Next on Black Clover Episode 153, The Chosen Ones. If you want to get even stronger, what else are you gonna do?” reads the official preview text from the trailer for the new installment.

After the mock tournament, organized by the Wizard King - Julius, ends, Asta and the other knights renewed their vow to protect the kingdoms and its people from the threat of the Spade Kingdom and the devil.

The episode begins with Noelle training with Asta. It is revealed that in September, the Magic Knights trained on a daily basis to get ready for the forthcoming battle with the Spade Kingdom and the devil. 

After witnessing the mock tournament and the captain’s zeal to fight, Asta and Noelle are even more motivated to train harder and get better.

In Black Clover Episode 152, in Castle Town Kikka, there is a market place, and sellers are using magic to sell their products. The Black Bulls arrive in the town, and Finral notes that the town is recovering fast after the Eye of the Midnight Sun’s attack.

Asta is excited and thanks to Captain Yami for bringing them along with him.  During the episode, it is revealed that on the day of their arrival, the Magic Knights Entrance Exam was being organized in the coliseum. The people of the kingdom cheer the participants as they enter the coliseum.

The participants are hailed as the stars of hope for the Clover Kingdom. The Black Bulls learn that due to the recent attacks on the kingdom, there are far fewer applicants this year.

But Asta and Noelle are excited to witness the entrance exam as they relive their experience.
