Meghan Markle’s continuing legal battle against the Associated Press in the United Kingdom is becoming bigger and bigger, and it was recently revealed that the Duchess’s letters to her father were written with the help of Palace aides.

This claim by the Associated Press put a major strain on the Duchess’s fight. In the past month, Meghan Markle had the upper hand in the court case after her request to move the trial dates later in 2021.

According to the Judge, the reason cited by the Sussex team for the change of dates was for ‘confidential reasons.’

Now, this new bombshell accusation made by the Associated Press can derail Meghan Markle’s plans as this may cause her to totally lose the trail.

The said letters were published by The Mail in 2019, which were reportedly written by the Duchess to her father. These letters provided details on the ongoing familial dispute between Markle and her father.

Mail UK has unfortunately claimed that these letters were not of Meghan’s “own intellectual creation” and that the letter was copied from an electronic draft made by the palace aides.

Furthermore, the Associated press also alleged that the Duchess herself leaked details of the letters through and the help of her friends.

The counterargument of the plaintiff also takes a blow on the fact that the Duchess had to prove now that the letters are authentically written by her.

This shocking blow will lead to a bloody court battle between the two camps. Thomas Markle, the father of the complainant, also revealed that he would stand as a witness during the trials.

Meghan’s father also tried to get the sympathy of the Sussex and the public by saying that he might ‘die tomorrow’ when news of the trial being moved to November 2021 was revealed.

The Associated Press also used ‘Finding Freedom,’ unauthorized biography of the Sussex’s as the main winning point for their argument, and this actually worked.

It was exposed that the Duchess had a copy of the book before its serialization but did not make a move of changing the claims branded ‘false’ by her lawyers.

Meghan Markle has also denied any involvement with the authors of the book during the making of ‘Finding Freedom.’ This was confirmed by authors Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie.

Despite all of the evidence presented by Meghan’s team, in the first round of the trial, the Duchess lost. The upcoming trial will be a redemption for Meghan Markle.
